SUPPORT THE CENSUS BUILD A BETTER FUTURE
The Census and Statistics Department conducts the 2011 Population Census during 30 June to 2 August 2011. Your support is crucial to the success of the Census.
How to provide information for the 2011 Population Census
If you receive a notification letter on the 2011 Population Census from the Census and Statistics Department in late June 2011, you can choose to provide the required information by one of the following self-enumeration modes during the first phase of the data collection period (from 30 June to 15 July 2011):
- Online submission of e-Questionnaire or
- Return of postal questionnaire if a copy is enclosed with the notification letter.
If you choose not to use self-enumeration or do not receive any notification letter, a census officer of the Census and Statistics Department will visit your household to conduct face-to-face interview during the second phase from 16 July to 2 August 2011. You may book an appointment for face-to-face interview.
